Dora Mojzes began to study technical design when she was awarded the prestigious erasmus scholarship from london college of fashion. She completed her studies at moholynagy university of art and design in 2008 with a degree in textiles. From there, the young hungarian poured her imagination, which is full of sci-fi, historical and military references that any tom-boy can appreciate, into technically adept and feminine clothing.
" My aim is to create the image of a 21st century woman with costumes that suggest self-confidence and resoluteness."
Her graduate collection, entitled “organic forms—futuristic expression,” won first prize at the national association of hungarian artists. Dora’s clothes give an aesthetic voice to strong femininity with bold cuts, patterns and evocative accessories.
She draws from a wide range of stylistic influences, from futurism to classic 1940’s hollywood style to roman legionaries, giving shape to post modern aesthetic values.
