Located at the epi-centre of London’s fashion and garment district the College offers a dynamic environment in which to study fashion. Its philosophy is to provide creative development alongside a strong vocational slant. The continued expertise of experienced industry professionals (many tutors combining teaching with successful fashion careers) ensures that students are kept up-to-date with the changing demands and opportunities within the industry. London College of Fashion is the only UK College to specialise in fashion education, research and consultancy – providing a unique opportunity to study at all levels.
Research at the College thrives and is supported and resourced by dedicated facilities such as its world-class library and archive centre. Research activity within the fashion media and cultural field encompasses curation and exhibition of fashion and fashion photography at international venues, contributions to the global fashion press, editorships of major research and trade journals, and well established links with museums such as the V&A. Through publicising achievements and successes, London College of Fashion aims to ensure that it is the first port of call for anyone looking for design graduates.
